Why should I use a Heavy Duty Filter instead of a standard Foam insert Filter?
The Heavy Duty Filter will trap more fine dust particles and dander than the standard filter. It also is a required component of the K-9 Muffler system, and must be used in order to properly set up and install a K-9 Muffler.

How do I install the Heavy Duty Filter on my K-9 dryer?
To install your Heavy Duty Filter, first remove the intake end of the dryer by removing the screws and setting them aside. Next, mount the Heavy Duty Filter Hardware on the dryer and position it so that the filter's screw holes line up with those on the unit. Finally, reinstall the screws. Take care not to over tighten the screws as this could strip out the holes in the metal and make the filter difficult to install or remove in the future.
